Position Overview:
COGNELITE is searching for a part-time mental performance consultant to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality mental performance training services and enhancing the well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual individual mental performance consulting sessions with youth, high school, and/or young adult clients, addressing mental performance topics such as mindfulness, performance anxiety, stress and emotion management, motivation, goal setting, and more.

  • Provide evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's needs.

  • Collaborate with fellow practitioners for case consultations and treatment planning.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, progress notes, and treatment plans.

  • Stay informed about the latest best practices and advancements in the field of sport psychology/mental performance consulting.

  • Network to build relationships and expand the client base.

  • Opportunities for group workshops with teams, parents, and/or coaches.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Sport Psychology, Performance Psychology, or a related field.

  • Current and valid licensure as a psychologist, therapist, or counselor in CO.

  • Experience in providing consulting services to athletes and active individuals with diverse backgrounds and needs.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Experience conducting virtual telehealth sessions.

  • Experience growing a portfolio of clients.

  • Ability to work after school hours and potentially on weekends.

Preferred:

  • Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.

  • Background in competitive sports or sport coaching experience.

  • Experience working with mental health.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position, and the schedule can be negotiated based on mutual agreement. Flexibility in working hours, including after school and weekends, is essential. A minimum of 5-10 hours a week is required.

Pay:
$50-$100+/session. Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
